Icod de los Vinos, in northwest Tenerife, is famous for its roughly 800-year-old Drago Milenario, a national monument, and the Cueva del Viento, a large lava tube.
Overlooking the sea, the white, stone-inlaid holiday home "Casa Pedro" was built at the beginning of the century in traditional island style.
This rustic 150 m² house has a spacious living/dining room with a wood-burning stove and a kitchen with a hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and fridge-freezer.
Each of its 4 bedrooms has a double bed and an open wardrobe; two have en-suite bathrooms.
There is also a full bathroom with a shower and a guest toilet.
The house sleeps 8. Wooden ceilings, exposed beams, decorative tiles and natural stone exude authentic Canarian charm. Wi-Fi, a washing machine, games and heating are provided, with a cot and high chair on request. The secluded, walled outdoor area has greenery, a terrace, barbecue and a private pool sheltered from the sea breeze, with shade and sun loungers in the sun. Upstairs, a sunny terrace offers panoramic views, sun loungers, tables and chairs for reading or enjoying a snack at sunset.
Depending on the season, every guest can find a spot in the sun or shade. Two supermarkets are within walking distance, 220–500 m away, and several restaurants are nearby (60–900 m). Beautiful Playa de los Marcos is about 3 km away, around 10 minutes by car. Tenerife North International Airport is 45 km away. Free parking is available and pets are welcome.

De verschillende terrassen met op eentje uitzicht tot aan de zee waren heel leuk. De kinderen genoten na een uitstapje van een frisse duik in het zwembad. Het huis had alles wat we nodig hadden.

Nous etions 8 et il manquait un peu de couverts, un lave vaisselle serait le bienvenu.nous avons eu des douches écossaises durant tout le sejour.dans le descriptif il est mentionné une baignoire qui etait absente et qui aurait été la bienvenue pour la toilette de bébé.
Le cafetiere fuit. Revoir la trousse de secour qui n en n est pas une.
J aurais aimé rencontrer notre hotesse pour le check in.

Quiétude, terrasse splendide avec piscine et végétation luxuriante, transats et tout ce dont nous avons eu besoin. Maison à proximité du centre historique, tout se fait à pieds. Hôte aux petits soins et très réactif, un grand merci 🙏
Un seul bémol : l'entrée avec voiture sous le porche trop étroite et ascension raide
