Our beautiful 70 m² vacation home "Am Waldesrand" in Sögel, with its own garden and terrace, is the perfect starting point for hikes in the Hümmling Nature Park, bike tours through the Emsland region, and relaxing walks through the Clemenswerth Castle complex, located about 800 meters away and spread over 42 hectares.
The comfortably furnished, single-story vacation home "Am Waldesrand" can accommodate up to three people and has been lovingly decorated.
In 2024, our vacation home was extensively renovated and further "spruced up." You will now find a new, well-equipped kitchen, a cozy modern living room for relaxation, one bedroom with a double bed, a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Two simple bicycles are available free of charge for shorter bike tours.
A storage room is available for your own bicycles.
After an eventful and beautiful day in the Emsland, you can relax in the garden with its terrace or enjoy a barbecue with friends.
Your dog is also very welcome here! You have the option to access the forest directly from the garden through a gate.
Beautiful, relaxing walks directly outside your door with your dog are therefore guaranteed.
The completely fenced property of our vacation home generally offers your dog plenty of freedom.
A playground nearby in the Sögel holiday home area ensures fun for younger guests.
The town center of Sögel, a state-recognized health resort, is approximately 1,500 meters away – here you will find many shops, bakeries, and restaurants.

As guests in the Sögel holiday home area, you can take advantage of a diverse range of leisure activities in the municipality of Sögel (prices subject to change without notice): - In the fitness studios "Fitness & Gesundheit Sögel" (approx. 1,600 m from the holiday home area) and Era-Gym Sögel (approx. 2,500 m from the holiday home area), free weight area, cardio machines, strength training equipment, and various classes / Day pass €10.00 per person, including water and mineral drinks - Sauna area at the Hotel Clemenswerther Hof with two saunas (60°C and 90°C) / 1,500 meters from the holiday home area / Fee €12.50 per person per day incl. water & tea / Towels and possibly bathrobes must be brought along - Indoor and outdoor tennis courts of TV-Rot-Gold Sögel e.
V. / approx. 1,600 m from the holiday home area / Fee per outdoor court per hour €6.00 / Indoor court prices on request - Kletterwald Sögel (Adventure Park): 10% discount on the regular ticket price / approx. 500 m from the holiday home area - Boules court including balls / approx. 1,600 m from the holiday home area / Free to use - Outdoor chess field with large game pieces in the holiday home area / Free to use The Sögel holiday home area will be expanded at the end of 2026.
Noise-intensive construction work will begin in November 2026 and end in March 2027.
No construction work will take place between Christmas and New Year.
Quiet times in the Sögel holiday home area will be observed even during construction work!

Die Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen mit Hund sind sehr schön. Jetzt im Oktober waren wir 8 Tage alleine in den Wäldern und sind niemandem begegnet. Herrlich.
