Our beautiful 70 m² holiday home "Am Waldesrand" in Sögel, with its own garden and terrace, is the perfect base for hikes in the Hümmling Nature Park, bike tours through the Emsland region, and relaxing walks through the Clemenswerth Palace complex, covering 42 hectares and located about 800 meters away.
The comfortably furnished, single-story holiday home "Am Waldesrand" can accommodate up to three people and is lovingly decorated.
In 2024, our holiday home was extensively renovated and further "spruced up." You can now expect a new, well-equipped kitchen, a cozy modern living room for relaxation, a bedroom with a double bed, a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Two simple bicycles are available free of charge for shorter bike tours.
A storage room is provided for your own bicycles. After an eventful and wonderful day in the Emsland region, you can relax in the garden with its terrace or enjoy a barbecue with company. Your dog is also very welcome here! You have the option to access the forest directly from the garden through a gate.
Beautiful, relaxing walks with your dog right on your doorstep are guaranteed.
The fully fenced property of our holiday home generally offers your dog plenty of space. A playground nearby in the Sögel holiday home area ensures fun for younger guests. The center of the state-recognized resort town of Sögel is approximately 1,500 meters away – here you will find many shops, bakeries, and restaurants. Our holiday home in the Sögel holiday home area offers everything you need for a relaxing break.

As guests in the Sögel holiday home area, you can take advantage of a diverse range of leisure activities in the municipality of Sögel (prices are non-binding): - In the fitness studios "Fitness & Gesundheit Sögel" (approx. 1,600 m from the holiday home area) and Era-Gym Sögel (approx. 2,500 m from the holiday home area), enjoy free weights, cardio equipment, strength training machines, and various classes / Day ticket €10.00 per person, including water and mineral drinks. - Sauna area at the Hotel Clemenswerther Hof with two saunas (60°C and 90°C) / 1,500 meters from the holiday home area / Fee €12.50 per person per day, including water & tea / Towels and possibly a bathrobe must be brought along. - Tennis hall and outdoor tennis courts of TV-Rot-Gold Sögel e. Die Betten im Gästezimmer/Kinderzimmer müssten mal getauscht oder überarbeitet werden. Wenn man sich drin bewegt machen diese schon merkwürdige Geräusche.

Die Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen mit Hund sind sehr schön. Jetzt im Oktober waren wir 8 Tage alleine in den Wäldern und sind niemandem begegnet. Herrlich.
