Elizabeth house is a lakefront house of ancient origins, but was completely renovated in 2015 maintaining the style of the period and enhancing the artistic and architectural features. The very high quality furnishings further emphasise the luxury of the property, as well as the carefully restored decorations on the exterior facades of the house.
Elizabeth house is located in the centre of the most popular area of Varenna, and is the protagonist of thousands of photographs taken by tourists fascinated by the beautiful and colourful Varenna. The house is on two floors and enjoys a panoramic lakefront balcony. The living area on the first floor comprises entrance hall, living room with sofa bed, armchairs and fireplace overlooking the lake, large kitchen with dining area and additional sofa, bathroom with shower. On the second floor is the sleeping area: 3 large double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, all enhanced by the exposed beams. The shades embracing all the rooms are brown and cream, in all their nuances.
Elizabeth house has all the comforts: TV, Wifi, dishwasher, coffee machine, toast machine, fridge, oven, food processor, microwave, washer/dryer, hairdryer, hoover and everything you need for full use.

The unit is located in the harbor overlooking the water. It was magical sitting on the veranda having a glass of wine just taking it all in. The unit it self has been d, has a great kitchen and was clean and again the location can't be beat.

Location can't be beat! Layout easily accommodates 6 people. Unit was quiet. Appreciated the ability to store our luggage on the day of checkout as there was no flexibility with 10am checkout time.

We loved where this house was located and enjoy sitting on the patio looking at the gorgeous views of the lake! All the beds were very comfortable mattresses and there were plenty of towels and soft linens.
The fans upstairs don't cool a lot, but enough to not having hot temperature
