Surrounded by forests lies Greimerath, a tranquil village in the Hochwald region.
In the heart of it, you will find our restaurant "Greimerather Forst" and our new guesthouse "Greimerather Forst". In a completely renovated house, we have created 4 holiday apartments in the spirit of our name – with a lot of wood.
All apartments have a balcony (south-facing) with garden furniture and a view of the forest and nature.
The solid real wood furniture lends the rooms a unique feel-good atmosphere.
For hiking and cycling, this is the ideal location, right at the start of the dream loop "Greimerather Höhenweg" and only 400m from the cycle path that leads directly to the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path. From Greimerath, you can also explore the surrounding area.
Excursions to Saarburg, Trier (the oldest city in Germany with a magnificent cathedral) or to the nearby Losheimer Stausee reservoir are highly recommended.
The Saarschleife loop in Mettlach, as well as numerous Saar and Moselle wineries, invite you to linger.
Even international metropolises like Luxembourg or Strasbourg can be reached in 1-2 hours. All utilities included. Please note that washing machine use is possible (please contact us about this). For stays of less than 4 nights, a surcharge will apply. Check-In: From 3:00 PM Check-Out: Until 11:00 AM Directions: From the A1/Reinsfeld: Leave the A1 at the Reinsfeld exit (132) in the direction of Saarburg, Kell am See. Follow the road towards Saarburg (B407). Turn left towards Greimerath (K139). After 2.5 km, you have reached Greimerath. From the A8/Merzig: Leave Merzig in the direction of Losheim am See (L157). After Brotdorf, turn left in the direction of Losheim am See (L157). At the intersection, drive straight ahead in the direction of Hausbach/Britten (L374). After Britten, turn left onto the B268 in the direction of Trier.
After approx. 5 km, turn right towards Greimerath (K139). After 1.5 km, you have reached your destination. From Trier: Leave Trier in the direction of Zerf/Losheim am See (B268). Follow the road for approx. 25 km (B268). Turn left towards Greimerath (K1349). After 1.5 km, you have reached Greimerath.

Soweit alles ok, bis auf die Straßenbauarbeiten direkt vor der Unterkunft. Ging morgens zwischen 06:00 und 06:30 Uhr los. Bei der nächsten Buchung bitte frühere und aktuelle Infos über solche Aktivitäten.

Schöne Wohnung mit passend zum Ort rustikaler Einrichtung. Perfekt für Familien, die als Selbstversorger agieren. Im Ort selbst gibt es leider keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, aber in den Nachbarorten Zerf (7 km; Norma, Edeka, Bäcker und Metzger) und Losheim am See (13 km; Globus, Aldi, Lidl, dm). Terrasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Einziges Manko: Nicht barrierefrei.
