Surrounded by forests lies Greimerath, a tranquil village in the Hochwald region.
Right in the middle, you will find our restaurant "Greimerather Forst" and our new guesthouse "Greimerather Forst". In a completely renovated house, we have created 4 holiday apartments for you, very much in keeping with our name - with lots of wood.
All apartments have a balcony (south-facing) with garden furniture and a view of the forest and nature.
The solid real wood furniture gives the rooms a unique feel-good atmosphere.
For hiking and cycling, this is the ideal location, directly at the entrance to the dream trail "Greimerather Höhenweg" and only 400m from the cycle path that leads directly to the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path. From Greimerath, you can also explore the surrounding area.
Excursions to Saarburg, Trier (the oldest city in Germany with a beautiful cathedral) or to the nearby Losheim reservoir are highly recommended.
The Saarschleife in Mettlach, as well as numerous Saar and Moselle winegrowers, invite you to linger.
International metropolises such as Luxembourg or Strasbourg can also be reached in 1-2 hours. All utilities included. Please note that the use of the washing machine is possible (please contact us about this). For stays of less than 4 nights, we charge a surcharge. Check-in: From 3:00 PM Check-out: Until 11:00 AM Directions: From the A1/Reinsfeld: Leave the A1 at the Reinsfeld junction (132) in the direction of Saarburg, Kell am See. Follow the road towards Saarburg B407. Turn left towards Greimerath K139. After 2.5 km, you have reached Greimerath. From the A8/Merzig: Leave Merzig in the direction of Losheim am See (L157). After Brotdorf, turn left in the direction of Losheim am See (L157). At the intersection, go straight ahead in the direction of Hausbach/Britten (L374). After Britten, turn left onto the B268 in the direction of Trier.
After approx. 5 km, turn right towards Greimerath (K139). After 1.5 km, you have reached your destination. From Trier: Leave Trier in the direction of Zerf/Losheim am See (B268). Follow the road for approx. 25 km (B268). Turn left towards Greimerath (K1349). After 1.5 km, you have reached Greimerath.

Zum Haus gehörte auch noch ein Restaurant .Die Schitzeln waren perfekt .
Der Stehhtisch in der Küchen stört wenn man der Spülmaschen oder Herd öffnet .Gute Eat ,ich wurde der Tisch quer an der Wand anbringen.

Die Wohnung war sehr geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe eingerichtet - perfekt zum Wohlfühlen! Es war alles sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Höchstpunktzahl für Komfort, Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit und Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und sehr wohlgefühlt.
