Environment description
Die Mozartstadt Salzburg und Berchtesgaden sind jeweils nur 15 km entfernt. Marktschellenberg - ein verträumtes, idyllisch gelegenes Bergdorf, das sich seinen Charme bis heute bewahrt hat. Vor allem Familien und Individualisten suchen hier Erholung. Erfrischung versprechen das beheizte Freibad und eine Kneipp-Anlage. Wanderer, Bergsteiger und Abenteurer erwartet hier ein tolles Angebot, wie z. B. die angelegte und gut beschilderte Nordic-Walking-Strecke. Für alle Kletterer gibt es den Klettersteig am Untersberg, der " Hochthronsteig", der durch die steile, ca. 400 Meter hohe Ostwand des Berchtesgadener Hochthrons führt. Auch Deutschlands größte erschlossene Eishöhle im Untersberg und die wildromantische Almbachklamm sind Attraktionen, die kaum an Schönheit zu überbieten sind. Am Eingang zur Almbachklamm befindet sich Deutschlands letzte Kugelmühle, in der aus dem Untersberger Marmor Murmeln hergestellt werden.

Arrival Description
Arrival by car: from Munich: follow the freeway A8 (direction Salzburg) to the Austrian border, then at the Salzburg junction follow the signs to Villach. At the exit Salzburg Süd/Grödig (pay attention to the toll sticker in Austria) leave the highway in the direction of Berchtesgaden. Follow the B305 to Marktschellenberg, at the church turn right into the Salzburger Straße and follow this road for about 250 m. Turn left into the Etschberg. Turn left into Ettenberger Straße (approx. 400 m). Take the 2nd street on the left. Arrival by train: Train connection to Berchtesgaden main station. Then bus connection from Berchtesgaden to Marktschellenberg. Arrival by plane: Destination airport Aiport Salzburg. By cab to Marktschellenberg.

Our comfortably furnished vacation apartment (approx. 80 sqm) offers space for 2 to 4 people. It has a separate entrance, a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds (crib on request), bathroom with bathtub and toilet, separate shower / toilet, well-equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster. Comfortable living and dining room with SAT-TV and radio. Furnished terrace with barbecue. Parking place.
