Dürrlehen Inn. There I am with pleasure! Our inn with a unique view of the Watzmann, is located in a beautiful, sunny location about 4 km from Berchtesgaden, in the idyllic district of Maria Gern. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Our 5 cozy apartments are furnished in country house style and all have a balcony. Three apartments have two separate bedrooms. On request, we will be happy to prepare a delicious breakfast for you or you can simply use our bread service. All apartments are equipped with flat screen SAT-TV and W-Lan. Dogs are very welcome! For sports enthusiasts we have a fitness room, table tennis and a sauna. Children can let off steam on our large playground with trampoline or pet the goats. If you don't feel like cooking, our regional cuisine will be happy to spoil you. Our house is the starting point of many hikes (Almbachklamm, Kneifelspitze, Untersberg, Ettenberg) outdoor pool and cross-country ski trail (Aschauerweiher - Bischofswiesen) in the immediate vicinity. We are looking forward to welcoming you!
Environment description
Our inn is located at 580 meters above sea level on the sunny high plateau Maria Gern near Berchtesgaden. At the foot of the legendary Untersberg and at the entrance of the Almbachklamm, many beautiful hikes can be started on foot. Also many excursion destinations, such as the salt mine Berchtesgaden, the Königssee or the Kehlsteinhaus are reachable in a few minutes by car.

Arrival Description
By car The best way to get to Berchtesgaden from all areas of Germany is via the A8 freeway (Munich - Salzburg). Leave the freeway at the Bad Reichenhall junction and continue in the direction of Berchtesgaden. After about 20 kilometers you will reach Bischofswiesen. Here, after the town center, follow the signs to Maria Gern. After about 5 kilometers you will reach the church of Maria Gern. You continue past the Gasthof Bachgütl. Here you keep left until you reach the Almbachweg, into which you turn right. At the end of the road is our alpine inn Dürrlehen, where we welcome you warmly.By trainAs a destination station serves the station of Berchtesgaden. From there, take the bus to Maria Gern to the Bachgütl terminus. From there it is a 10 minute walk to us. Of course, we are also happy to pick you up from the train station. By plane You can travel by plane from several German airports. The destination airport is Salzburg Airport. From there you have the possibility to come to Berchtesgaden by train, by bus or by cab. The train ride takes about 55 minutes. The bus journey from Salzburg main station takes about 50 minutes (express buses). They end at the Berchtesgaden train station. The distance between the two places is 27 kilometers.
