The area is also very popular with hikers thanks to its numerous hiking trails, orchards and vineyards.
The Tischlerhof is an ideal starting point to discover the hiking paradise of Hochmuth (Meraner Höhenweg) and Hirzer.
In winter the nearby skiing areas such as Merano 2000 (about 6 km away) can be easily reached.
The capital of South Tyrol, Bozen (Bolzano), can be reached by car in about 35 minutes (about 36 km).
