Our alpine hut is quietly and idyllically located in the "Three Lakes Area" in the district of Seegatterl, approx. 5 km from Reit im Winkl. In winter, Reit im Winkl is considered extremely snow-sure, the cable car to the Winklmoos-Alm is only 1 km away. In summer, extensive hiking and cycling trails invite you to explore the surroundings. An ideal starting point for skiers, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. Our "KASA" consists of 3 double rooms for 2 persons each, a kitchen, a living room, bathroom with shower, WC and a storage room. The 90 sqm of our Alm are heated with central heating. Your advantage as our guest: We are partner landlord/operation of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free services in addition to our own, such as free entry to the open-air swimming pool, the Kössener Wald open-air swimming pool and the Walchsee lake.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort
According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health." Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly fulfilled the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. Firstly, the altitude, which ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description
By car to Reit im Winkl... Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl... The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane... Munich Airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg Airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
