Very nice holiday apartment with a 30sqm balcony directly on Vergia Beach!
Apartment Mike is located about 4 km outside of Nea Kallikratia, directly on Vergia Beach.
The water here is crystal clear and has been awarded the Blue Flag multiple times.
The beach is especially recommended for children/toddlers, as it has a very shallow slope and offers plenty of space for carefree fun. During the high season (May-September), lovely beach bars and restaurants, also located directly on the beach, invite you to relax and enjoy.
There is also a gyros stand on the beach that's great for a midday bite.
At the beach bars, you can use the numerous sun loungers provided free of charge, of course, in conjunction with a drink or snack.
Also directly on the beach is a Game Center for kids catering to all age groups.
The entire family can feel at home here. However, if you'd prefer a cozy evening on your spacious, covered balcony of approximately 30sqm, you'll find a supermarket with a bakery and butcher shop just 100m from the apartment, offering everything your heart and stomach desire. During the low season, the apartment and its surroundings offer tranquility and miles of deserted beaches, with swimming still possible in September, October, and even parts of November, often with temperatures around 23 degrees Celsius.
If you don't want to completely forgo hustle and bustle even in the low season, you can visit the towns of Nea Kallikratia (4km from the apartment) or Moudania (approx. 15km from the apartment). Nea Moudania is the largest town in Chalkidiki and offers many shopping opportunities, cultural attractions, museums, and more even in the low season.
The Petralona Cave is also interesting.
The oldest European ancestor found to date was discovered here, and it's worth a visit (as is the museum on site). Thessaloniki is also worth a visit, though you should plan for a full day. You'll find plenty of cultural attractions here, such as the White Tower, the old Kalamari district, and the old Moni Vlatadon monastery.
The historic old town with its numerous markets and many small stone streets is also worth a visit.
