approx. 35 m², 1 floor at ground level, fenced property, dogs must be leashed (maternal cow husbandry and hunting grounds around the hut), 1 family bedroom, bathroom with sink, walk-in shower, and toilet, radio, game collection, wood-burning stove, furnished terrace, watering trough, sun umbrella/loungers, brick barbecue, firewood storage, storage room for bicycles and skis, 2 parking spaces directly at the hut, mobile reception only in front of the hut. Your view extends to Anthaupten, Bernkogel, whose ascent is quite challenging, and Kögerl – an optimal family hike of about 1.5 hours. Please don't forget your binoculars, because the activity of your direct neighbors, the marmots, deer, and does, completely replaces TV and internet and provides ample entertainment.
Collecting mushrooms and picking berries in the forest behind the hut is not only fun but also pure natural enjoyment for the whole family. Your winter between romance and seclusion Around the hut, you are in a top ski touring and winter hiking area! From January onwards, arrival itself is a ski touring experience, as the road is closed for the winter season until May. You park your car at the landlords' farm, and together you hike leisurely for about 1.5 hours through the Rauris winter wonderland.
Your luggage will be transported to the hut by snowmobile in the meantime.
During the ascent, you will learn all about the most beautiful tours and best routes in the immediate vicinity.
The landlords also have plenty of information about safety and culinary recommendations. The ski area in the neighboring town of Rauris, about 15 kilometers away, is considered a insider tip and is particularly preferred by locals.
However, renowned ski areas such as the Gastein mountain railways, Ski amadé around the Hochkönig, or the Kaprun / Zell am See glacier ski area, as well as the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski circus, are located up to 40 kilometers away.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Bergurlaub. Die Hütte lässt keinen Wünsche offen . Die absolut ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur hat uns sehr begeistert . Direkt von der Tür aus loswandern ohne das Auto zu bewegen , Naturgewalten und die Tierwelt beobachten , den Sternenhimmel bewundern ,was will man mehr. Die Hütte bekommt unsere vollste Empfehlung .

Wenn man die Einsamkeit in den Bergen liebt, ist man hier genau richtig.
Direkt loswandern von der Hütte, keine anderen Menschen, eine perfekte Ausstattung der Hütte.
Wir waren zum 2ten Mal auf der Hütte und es ist einfach traumhaft. Schlafen im Zirbenschlafzimmer, dieser Geruch :), unmittelbar von der Hütte auf Gipfel oder zu Almhütten, die Ausstattung der Hütte lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt. Ein traumhafter Blick auf die Berge, nette zuvorkommende Gastgeber und die absolute Ruhe zeichnen diese Hütte aus. Auch die Nähe zu dem grasenden Vieh verleiht der Hütte einen eigenen Charme. Optimal scheint die Anreise mit einem SUV oder vergleichbaren Fahrzeug zu sein da die Strecke von Embach hoch bis zur Hütte schon eine kleine Herausforderung sein kann.
