Holidays with family & friendsIn the midst of a rural idyll
The chalet in the district of Maishofen, idyllically nestled between farms and wide fields, is a typical country house in the Austrian architectural style.
It was built between Zell am See - Kaprun and Saalfelden in traditional organic timber construction. Pinzgau's capital is just 5 kilometres away with the crystal-clear Lake Zell (drinking water quality), which is ideal for ice skating and ice hiking in winter.
A summer like back then
In summer, swimming is a real treat after biking and hiking tours. The best thing to do is cycle the 5 kilometres or so to Lake Zell, to the partly free bathing areas and lidos by the lake. As an Almliesl guest, you can use the family-run Maishofner lido free of charge.
The renowned ski areas around your holiday home provide winter fun
The ski areas Saalbach Hinterglemm, Zell am See - Kaprun and the Hochkönig Ski amadé ski area are in the immediate vicinity and are within a few kilometres (e.g.: 5 kilometres to the Zell am See Kaprun ski area) with great offers for families and mountain enthusiasts.
As soon as you enter the chalet, you feel at home here:
The centrepiece of the house is the large living room with a beautiful dining table and an inviting living area.
The kitchen was recently fitted and leaves nothing to be desired.
There are 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a dormitory, not just for the kids ;).
The location is rural, quiet and from the garden and terrace there is a far-reaching view of the main Alpine ridge during cosy barbecue afternoons.
The owners have built a wooden house for the children to play, slide and climb in.
Our tip: Excursions to the Großglockner. Experience the world of the high mountains with its different vegetation zones and the impressive Grossglockner High Alpine Road. By the way: marmots are called "Manggei" by the locals. These giant hamsters are the masters of the Großglockner.
