Spacious and bright apartment in Santa Margherita Ligure, located in a prime hillside area, a 10-minute walk from the center and the sea.
It is situated in a quiet residential area, surrounded by nature, with a splendid sea view.
Access is via a staircase of about 30 steps, opening directly into the living room with a kitchenette, followed by a small laundry room, a double bedroom with a bathroom with shower, a small bedroom with two single beds, and a second service bathroom.
Completing the apartment is a beautiful panoramic terrace with a sea view for our guests and a private garden with fruit trees.
In front of the building, there is a convenient bus stop. Santa Margherita Ligure is located on the Riviera Ligure di Levante, in a basin nestled in the northwestern part of the Portofino promontory and in the innermost part of the Gulf of Tigullio.
The town, situated east of Genoa, is surrounded by hills covered in Mediterranean vegetation with views of the so-called "Dolphin Coast," which connects the town to Portofino.
The area is a popular tourist and seaside resort on the Riviera di Levante.
Part of the municipal territory of Santa Margherita Ligure is included in the Portofino Regional Natural Park. Just over 30 km away, you will find Genoa, a port city and the capital of Liguria, historically known for its significant role in maritime trade over many centuries.
Known as one of the largest medieval historic centers in Europe, Genoa's old town is a maze of alleys (caruggi) that unexpectedly open into small squares, often linked, like the churches overlooking them, to important noble families.
The spirit of Genoa resides in these alleys, where different scents, flavors, languages, and cultures mingle.
In the historic center, you will find the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped facade and frescoed interiors.
Narrow streets lead to monumental squares like Piazza de Ferrari, with its characteristic bronze fountain, and the Carlo Felice opera house. Unmissable and iconic is the Aquarium of Genoa, the largest in Europe.
The exhibition path displays over 70 environments and approximately 12,000 specimens of 600 species from all the world's seas.
It is an unforgettable experience for adults and children alike, filling the heart with emotions and a deep respect for the sea and its extraordinary inhabitants.
It's also impossible to overlook Genoa's culinary tradition, with the legendary basil pesto, famous worldwide, and focaccia, which can be savory (like focaccia with olives, onions, and tomatoes) or even sweet and filled.

Thank you for a great holiday. Everything was perfect and the staff I met and had contact with were super friendly and wonderful. My only wish for change would be fewer signs, that would take away some of the charm. But I’d recommend to stay here.
