The spacious, 75 square metre 3-room flat for up to 4 people (not suitable for children under 6 years of age) is located on the top floor of a natural stone house that has been expertly restored with great attention to detail. The view from the large, partially covered roof terrace is breathtaking. The loving details of the charming holiday flat complement the practical, modern furnishings. It is tasteful and functional at the same time. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare your meals and for a lovingly laid table. A small, picturesque studio on the ground floor of the house, with a separate entrance via the terrace in front, is suitable for 1-2 more people. The studio can only be rented in conjunction with the holiday flat. The studio has a mini-kitchen with dining area. The terrace is also furnished with a table and patio chairs. The minimum rental period for the entire property is 7 days.
After a day at the beach, a visit to a Romanesque monastery or a museum, return to enchanting Tordères, a small idyllic island of tranquillity in the hinterland of the Côte Vermeille (Purple Coast), far from the tourist hustle and bustle. You will find this picturesque, quiet and romantic little village between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, surrounded by vineyards, almond and olive trees, peach and cherry orchards, cork oak forests and southern vegetation. To the south, the view extends far beyond the green Tordères across the plain to the Mediterranean, south-east to the border mountains "les Albères" and on to the all-dominant 2785 m high Pyrenean peak of the Canigou, the "holy mountain" of the Catalans.
In the hinterland with views across the plain (approx. 27 km) to the southernmost end of the French Mediterranean coast, the Côte Vermeille, it is worth lingering on sandy beaches, steep cliffs and in small secluded bays. Not far from the artistic centres of Céret and Collioure, "the little picturesque town" as Henri Matisse affectionately called it, there are numerous traces of Picasso, Chagall, Cocteau and Dali, among others. The south-east is dominated by the mountain panorama of the Pyrenees with the towering Canigou (2785m) just 42 kilometres from the sea. In the Corbières, eastern foothills of the Pyrenees, the Cathar castles of Queribus and Peyrepertuse cling majestically to the steep rock faces.
The flat has a large roof terrace. Fans for hot summer days are available. All windows are fitted with mosquito screens. The studio with terrace in front has a small kitchenette and is also very well equipped. A patio table and chairs are provided.
