AM Suite with terrace is a comfortable one-bedroom apartment located in a lively and very busy area of the island of Ortigia, right behind the daily local market, which fills the neighbourhood with fragrances, colours and flavours.


The recently renovated house is very well furnished and decorated with style. Located on the second floor, it consists of a living area with kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a furnished terrace outside the flat, but for the exclusive use of guests, ideal for meals and aperitifs in the open air. There are narrow stairs.

The sleeping area, which does not face the market, is more private and quiet.

The house has all the comforts to make you feel at home even on holiday: you will find TV, air conditioning, Wi-fi, washing machine, and much more.

The flat is located in a ZTL area, so we recommend leaving your car in one of the surrounding car parks and enjoying the historic centre on foot.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the surrounding area of Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white colour of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find beautiful unspoilt and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are definitely worth a visit. Not to be overlooked are Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to explore and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.


The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 km away, that of Comiso Pio La Torre 110 km. The Syracuse train station is very close to the bus terminal from the airport and a 10-minute walk from Ortigia.
