There are also many mountain lakes in Eggedalsfjellet where you can fish, as well as the possibility to collect blueberries and mullets in season.

Museums are located in a row up the valley, including Blaafarveværket, Lauvlia, the house of Theodor Kittelsen and Hagan, the house of Christian Skredvig.

In winter you will find beautiful ski slopes nearby as well as opportunities for skiing at Norefjell Ski Center.
