If you want a beach, it is only 40 m to the beach with sandy bottom in Husavika. Fishing possibilities directly from the land. If you want to explore on foot, there are marked hiking trails in Skånevik and Etne. Etne mountains are particularly beautiful and known for spectacular viewpoints and several good fishing lakes.

It is only a short drive to the beautiful village of Skånevik, which offers stores, restaurants, bakeries and cultural events in the summer. Etne is also easily accessible by car. Day trips along the Åkrafjord with Langfossen and to Hardanger are recommended. Take the ferry from Skånevik to Kvinnherad and visit the barony of Rosendal. Also experience Haugesund and Karmøy with the small towns of Skudeneshavn and Åkrahamn.
