Domaine de la Borderie is a charming estate nestled in the heart of the Dordogne.
Perched on a hill, this former French hamlet consists of a few characterful houses, four of which are available as holiday rentals.
Choose from La Bergerie (for 2, newly renovated in 2025), La Chaumière (for 5), and La Fermette (for 8+2).
Each can be booked individually or together—perfect for a peaceful getaway with family or friends.
The houses are tastefully decorated with respect for their original charm.
Scattered across the wooded estate are cozy shared spots, including a wood-fired pizza oven at the center, near the home of the welcoming managers.
The newly upgraded pool (2023) is a summer favorite, while the jeu de boules court offers a truly French touch.
In La Fermette’s spacious living room, guests can enjoy music around the grand piano or gather by the fireplace.
The terrace, with panoramic views, is ideal for sunset dinners and drinks.

Das Haus war sehr geräumig und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Wir verbrachten unsere Tage damit, die Gegend zu erkunden und am Pool zu entspannen. Mir gefiel die Ruhe sehr – es war so friedlich. Einziger Nachteil: Die Parkmöglichkeiten waren etwas eng, aber insgesamt war das kein großes Problem.

La maison était vraiment spacieuse et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin, Nous avons passé nos journées à explorer la région et à nous détendre au bord de la piscine, J'aimais à quel point c'était calme - cela se sentait tellement paisible, Le seul inconvénient était que le stationnement était un peu serré, mais ce n'était pas un gros problème dans l'ensemble
