This medieval mountain village was mentioned for the 1st mail in 1123, still today, as in the past, it is a labyrinth of ancient little houses, romantic alleys, stairways, small squares with breathtaking panoramas and hidden trattorias or small bars.

The "piazzetta", or village square, is the meeting place of both the inhabitants of the village and some vacationers; here, too, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding hills, while the wide view of the sea from the Belvedere di San Costabile completely captivates the onlookers, especially during sunset.
