There are many kilometers of marked hiking trails.
Three kilometers away is the Innerste reservoir with water sports facilities such as pedal boating, surfing, and sailing.
Those who wish to fish can also do so with a permit.
Goslar, the former imperial city with many sights, is only 20 kilometers away.
In winter, the region around the mountain town transforms into a huge winter sports area.

Our holiday home is idyllically situated on the outskirts of Lautenthal, in the Innerste valley.
Located at the end of a purely residential street, there is no through traffic.
Built close to the edge of the forest, you can step out of the house and immediately be in beautiful nature.
In close proximity to the well-developed cycle path to Wildemann, you have the opportunity here for cycling or skating, and in winter for cross-country skiing.
There are also various entry points to the well-developed network of trails for hiking excursions to Bromberg or to the popular excursion destination Maßener Gaipel right on your doorstep.
The heated outdoor swimming pool can be reached on foot in about 8 minutes, and the town center in about 15 minutes.
For children, this place is a true Eldorado for fun, games, and adventure.
The many hiking trails invite you to take long walks with your dog.

Die Lage direkt am Waldrand sagt mir sehr zu. Die Gegend ist wunderschön.
Es wäre schön, wenn eine Brotschneidemaschine vorhanden wäre.
