A picture-perfect house situated in the heart of a busy little city – the smallest in England. Dating from the 15th Century, this Grade II listed house lies within the Liberty of the Cathedral which it overlooks and has recently been refurbished to create a modern and very comfortable holiday home.
The famous West Front of the Cathedral provides a backdrop to this two storey terraced property, from where everything the city has to offer is within easy walking distance. Wells lies on the southern tip of a triangle with Bath and Bristol to the north. The 13th Century Cathedral, with 300 statues on the spectacular West Front, is the jewel of the city but there are many other visitor attractions including the nearby 14th Century moated Bishop's Palace and the Vicars Close – said to be the oldest continually inhabited street in Europe. However, the modern world is here too, including a bustling twice weekly farmers' market selling a wide variety of local produce. If you don't want to cook, there are also plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town's pretty streets.
