A villa directly on the lake, sleeping 8, ideal for 2 couples and 4 children (the bunk bed and sofa bed are comfortable for children or teenagers), in 3 bedrooms.
Villa Coccodrilla is a unique and romantic place just a few minutes from Gargnano and Toscolano Maderno.
The villa is built on the lake cliff, with its verandas and terraces reaching directly to the lake.
The villa rests on the edge of the lake like a content crocodile, ready to slip into the water, hence the name "Coccodrilla". The house was built in the 1960s by the famous Belgian architect Leon Stynen as his personal holiday home and has been featured in various magazines.
It has been recently renovated with a new kitchen and new bathrooms. - Bedrooms: 8 sleeping places in 3 bedrooms, all with beautiful lake views.
The bedrooms are: a double with a private bathroom, balcony, and AC; one with a bunk bed; and a family suite with AC, a double bed, and a sofa bed that opens into two single beds. - Bathrooms: 2.5 bathrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom in the double bedroom, one with access for the other two bedrooms, and a half-bath on the upper living area with a sink and toilet. - Kitchen: New, fully equipped kitchen with all major and minor appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine.

The villa is located at the very bottom of the hill near the lake, so your privacy is absolute and the road is not disruptive.
You can reach Bogliaco in a few minutes on foot (about 500 meters, but along the busy road, so not a quiet stroll), where you will find a couple of good bars for your morning cappuccino and the restaurant "Allo Scoglio," one of our favorites for fish, with a lakeside terrace.
The center of Gargnano is 1.5 km away with numerous small shops, 2 Michelin-starred restaurants (Tortuga and Villa Feltrinelli), and numerous other excellent restaurants and pizzerias.
Here you will also find the Lake Garda ferry port, where you can take a ferry to any other town on the lake.
In the other direction, about 5 km down the road, you will find the town of Toscolano Maderno, a small town with all tourist services.

A very beautiful design house, probably designed in the 60's. Very well equiped, they even let us use a paddel board which was very usefull for the kids.It has an amazing situation, right on the lake, and the house has the most beautiful dinner table. A peer for water access, and the rooms big enoug...
