Historically, its geographic location on the beaches of the ally Landings Utah Beach and Sword has made the place famous worldwide. Activities nearby: The beautiful town of Bayeux, famous for its cathedral, porcelain and lace museums and very well-preserved tapestries, is a must for an excursion.
Along the river l'Aure, you can follow in the footsteps of the craftsmen who made Bayeux flourish in the Middle Ages.
There is a wonderful market here on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

was clean, but old fashoined interior. apartment was big. kitchen too narrow. parking was too tight but free of charge. Luckely we were the only one with a balcony. near to the sea, close to the centre. Landlord was friendly.

war sauber, aber altmodisches Interieur. Die Wohnung war groß. Küche zu eng. Das Parken war zu eng, aber kostenlos. Zum Glück waren wir die einzigen mit Balkon. Nahe am Meer, nah am Zentrum. Vermieter war freundlich.

Pierre und Annick Daligaux sind ganz reizende Vermieter. Sie sind sehr einfühlsam, diskret und dennoch aufmerksam. Pierre brachte uns einfach so Croissants oder einen Salat vorbei.
