The Experience Hotel, situated in the heart of this holiday region, offers newly furnished hotel rooms and apartments with all comforts, 400m² of wellness facilities, a beach bath on Lake Faak, the regional Erlebnis-CARD, and an incomparably delicious breakfast for the perfect start to your holiday. By car: From Salzburg: Autobahn towards Villach, exit Faaker See (180 km), direction Faak (do not go to Drobollach, as your navigation system will send you down a steep mountain to Latschach – nobody knows why; going via Faak is shorter and completely flat). Turn right around the lake, direction Karawanken – pass under the railway until you reach the roundabout, then turn left, slightly uphill for another 1 km until you reach Latschach.
In the village, you will find our hotel on the right, below the church, before the hill starts to climb. From Vienna: Südautobahn (A2) – exit Villach/Faaker See (350 km). From Italy: Udine-Tarvisio-Villach/Faaker See motorway (100 km), direction Latschach at the foot of the Karawanken mountains. From Slovenia: Ljubljana – Karawanken motorway – St. Niklas/Faaker See, then to the south side of Lake Faak – direction Karawanken, Latschach – center. By train: Villach Hauptbahnhof (main station) – from there, take a bus directly to Latschach – stop near the hotel, or from Villach, take a train to Faak am See. We will pick you up from there.
Please inform us of your arrival time at least 2 days before arrival. By plane: There is a transfer service from Klagenfurt Airport to our hotel.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber durch die Freundlichkeit der Hausherrin und der Reinemachfrau (ein ganz dickes Lob an diese) mehr als ausgeglichen wird. Zum See muss man etwas laufen, aber dies hat uns nicht gestört. Den Wellnessbereich haben wir - wegen gutem Wetters - nicht genutzt, dieser sah aber sehr gut aus. Die Anlage ist toll und die Umgebung ein Traum!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Möglichkeit unser e-bike in einer Garage abstellen zu können und über Nacht wieder aufzuladen war perfekt.
Die Restaurants, in denen man in Latschach Abendessen kann ist sehr begrenzt, da heißt man...
