Our holiday home is located in Sehmatal-Cranzahl in the Upper Ore Mountains, nestled between the spa town of Oberwiesenthal and the mining town of Annaberg-Buchholz, directly at the foot of Mount Bärenstein and the Cranzahl reservoir.
We offer our guests a high level of comfort to ensure your holiday is a truly memorable experience.
A large living room, a kitchen, a beautiful bathroom, and two separate bedrooms for a total of 5 people, as well as a covered garden terrace, children's playground, and pool directly at the holiday property, complete the appealing features.
The interior furnishings and absolute cleanliness are consistently praised by our holiday guests. In the immediate vicinity, you'll find the attractive Lenk Nutcracker Museum, and in the Neudorf district, you can experience firsthand, in a humorous way, how incense candles are made.
You should also definitely visit the newly established Soup Museum there. By the way, the steam-powered narrow-gauge railway, the "Fichtelbergbahn," runs directly to Oberwiesenthal from Cranzahl station as part of its regular service.
An excursion on standard gauge directly over the main ridge of the Ore Mountains into the Czech Republic is also interesting and worth seeing. A visit to the mining town of Annaberg-Buchholz, with St. Anne's Church, numerous museums, and the pedestrian zone, as well as the toy village of Seiffen with its world-famous manufactories, is also highly recommended. A special attraction here in the Ore Mountains is the Advent and Christmas season.
Miners' parades, Christmas markets, and the glow of lights in and on all the houses rightly give our region the designation "Christmas Land Ore Mountains." Winter sports enthusiasts will also not be disappointed.
Excellently prepared slopes and cross-country trails will make skiers' hearts beat faster.
Or, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered winter forest and try authentic Ore Mountain cuisine. Have we sparked your curiosity? We would be delighted to welcome you personally as our holiday guests here in the Ore Mountains.
