Your vacation home was originally built as the bakehouse of a large farm. It is surrounded by a beautiful courtyard garden, which is bordered on one side by a natural stream. In the meantime, the house has been lovingly restored as a vacation home.

The cottage has two separate bedrooms and a sleeping area in the living area. Please note that one bedroom is used as a passage room.

The lovingly landscaped garden offers you a place to enjoy the sun or relax at any time. Children will also feel very comfortable here, there is a playhouse with slide and swing.
You will find a large evening adventure playground at the Schiedersee, about 6 km from Schwalenberg.

In the main building there is now a guesthouse, so you can also order your breakfast there. Furthermore, the tradition of textile blueprinting is cultivated here. Exhibitions and seminars complete the program. Only a few hundred meters away you will find traditional restaurants and inns, some with painting exhibitions, galleries and studios, which keep the traditions of the Schwalenberg painters' colony alive today. Your host offers you a free pick-up from the train station Schieder, as well as the possibility to rent bicycles.

Your vacation home is located in the western Weserbergland, near the southern foothills of the Teutoburg Forest. In addition to the scenic attractions of this low mountain range rich in water and deciduous forests, you are here in one of the richest cultural landscapes in Germany.

Numerous health resorts in the area attract visitors with a wide variety of attractions. For example, the nearby Staatsbad Pyrmont offers such unusual attractions as a haze cave and sinkholes, in addition to its famous palm garden of the Hufelandtherme, a zoo and the castle.
