From Maloja lakeside you walk (recommendation: by sledge) to Isola through the beautiful fairytale forest. It takes about 35 minutes to reach the small village and the warmly heated holiday home. At the end of January, Lake Sils freezes over and then the winter hiking trails over the frozen Lake Sils are prepared by the municipality of Bergell.
