Treat yourself to a well-deserved break in the midst of the magnificent mountain world in Toggenburg.
The unique location at 1225m above sea level, directly adjacent to the alpine pasture will also delight you. The location is sunny all year round with panoramic views of the valley and the mountains on all sides. Hiking, biking, skiing and sledding trail directly from the front door. It is possible to drive right up to the house. The house can be reached on foot from the Iltios mountain station in approx. 12 minutes. The Espel-Chäserrugg cable car is only a 6-minute walk away.
The holiday home is divided in half into 2 flats and provides excellent privacy, away from the noise of everyday life. The flat was last renovated in 2022 to meet current needs without losing the original charm of the 70s.
The kitchen has been completely rebuilt. New with oven, dishwasher and extended work surfaces above various pull-out drawers. All materials were carefully selected, coordinated and professionally finished by regional craftsmen. The floor in the entrance, living and dining area was covered with high-quality oak parquet. The dining area is newly furnished with an impressive view of the Alpstein mountains. The new spacious panorama window invites you to linger or read and, together with the newly designed dining area, creates an exclusive ambience.
The bedroom on the ground floor has been furnished with two new fitted spruce beds. Generous pull-out drawers underneath allow a comfortable entry height into the new beds and are very popular with children as well as their grandparents. USB sockets and reading lamps are a matter of course.
The attic room on the upper floor, built in 2019, exudes the fresh scent of local spruce wood. Its anteroom with the integration of individual old wood elements forms a cosy lounge with a sofa design classic from Ligne Roset. On the other side of the upper floor is the largest bedroom with two single beds placed next to each other and a wardrobe with a view of the Churfirsten mountains.
In 2021 a new PV system was installed on the roof, which supplies the house as far as possible with solar energy. The house is fed spring water together with the two neighbourhoods further away. In winter, the winter service of the access road up to the house is guaranteed, but leads over the ski slope and requires corresponding winter equipment.
