LA CASETTA NEL FRUTTETO is a typical chalet surrounded by the flowery meadows of the Dolomites, 1 km from the tourist resort of Fiera di Primiero and the village of Mezzano (one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy"!) Paved access road regularly cleaned of snow even in winter, a small house just for you! And almost 2000 square metres of lawn where you can relax, enjoy peace and quiet, play with the children or run with your dog. All this, on the sunniest side of the valley, to fill yourself with sun and energy.the house has on the ground floor a kitchen equipped with everything you need (including dishwasher, coffee machine and freezer) with dining area, a small living area with satellite TV (now with all programmes in German!), DVD player, a bathroom with shower and washing machine. There is central heating and also a "tiled stove" (typical Tyrolean wood stove)A staircase leads to the first floor, where everything is made of wood and where there is a double room (with the possibility of a third bed) with balcony, a room with two beds and a bathroom.around the house there is a large meadow (2000 square metres) for running and playing, a veranda and under it a table for eating outside, a barbecue and deckchairs. There is also a car park. In the double bed our guests will find two fragrant pillows upholstered with pine shavings, which have exceptional therapeutic properties: The house is located only 1 km from the village of Mezzano (one of the "most beautiful spots in Italy") and 2 km from the lively village of Fiera di Primiero. These villages can be reached from the house not only via a tarmac road, but also via quiet footpaths. In winter the tarmac road is regularly cleared of snow and in the village of Mezzano our family also rents out the spacious attic "La Casa di Mauro" (property number 611336). 15 km away is the world-famous and elegant village of San Martino di Castrozza with its high mountain hikes, climbing routes and via ferratas in the Pala Group.In winter, the San Martino di Castrozza - Passo Rolle ski area (15 min. by car) offers over 60 km of pistes, 3 snow parks and 30 km of cross-country ski trails. The San Martino di Castrozza-Rolle Pass ski area is part of the Dolomiti Superski carousel: with one ski pass you can ski on 1,200 kilometres of slopes in 12 ski areas, four of which can be reached in no more than 1 hour by car. The other Dolomite valleys (Fiemme, Fassa, Val Gardena, Alta Badia...) can be reached in 60-90 minutes by car.The cities of Trento, Bolzano and Venice can be reached in 2 hours by car.Near the house you will find numerous paths and footpaths for quiet walks in every season.Dogs and other pets are welcome, but they are not allowed on the first floor.When booking the flat we will be happy to provide you with further recommendations and tips for discovering our area.
