In the nearby and well-known holiday resort of Tropea, you can go swimming in the crystal-clear sea, visit the sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola or try the typical and spicy raw sausage Nduja and other delicacies prepared with the local red onion in the restaurants.
From Tropea you can also embark on an unforgettable excursion to the Aeolian Islands.
From the lighthouse in Capo Vaticano (15 km) you can see as far as the distant Aeolian Islands on clear days; Vibo Valentia (20 km) an ancient Greek colony rich in religious and civil architecture.
