From your holiday home you can reach the Baltic seaside resort of Warnemünde with its "Alter Strom", the incomparable flair and the wonderfully wide white sandy beach in a short time (10 km). After only 7 km you have reached the centre of the Hanseatic city of Rostock and the marina with its numerous mooring boats. St Mary's Church, the university and Rostock's historic old town are also well worth a visit. The Doberan Minster monastery in Bad Doberan is just 12 kilometres away. A special experience is to take a trip from there on the "Molli", a historic narrow-gauge railway, to the oldest seaside resort in Germany "Heiligendamm" and on to the seaside resort "Kühlungsborn". There is also a large leisure pool in Wismar, about 60 km away, for swimming fun in bad weather or outside the bathing season.
