We have a lovely Buenavista Golf apartment in Ciudad Quesada for short-term holiday rental. It is a spacious bright end terrace ground floor apartment with spectacular views from the garden and terrace over La Marquesa golf course (5 minutes away) to the mountains in the distance.
The apartment has 2 airy double bedrooms with built in wardrobes, one with a double bed, the other with 2 singles. There is one bathroom with toilet, basin unit, bath with shower over and washing machine. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are open-plan with a breakfast bar separating the kitchen area. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher as well as the usual kettle, coffee machine and toaster. There are ample pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for any cook.
There is a 43” tv in the lounge with English channels, a DAB radio, a comfy 3 seater sofa bed and an armchair. There is free wifi and the living area and both bedrooms have air-conditioning, plus there is a ceiling fan in the living area. From the living room there are patio doors to the good-sized terrace which has a table and 4 chairs for outdoor dining and fabulous views.
There are 4 deckchairs, 2 sunloungers and a bistro table for sitting out on the garden patio which has a built-in brick BBQ and 2 pine benches. The property is fully enclosed so it is safe for young children.
We are 25 metres from the lovely coded-entry communal pool area which has a main pool and a kiddies pool with a grassed area, benches and sun loungers which are free to use. The pool is solely for the use of the apartments in our community so is never overcrowded. It is in a quiet residential area but handy for amenities.
It is approximately 800 metres walk from The Club and Quesada Country Club and just over 1 km to La Marquesa bars, restaurants, shops and an ATM. It is about 1.5 km to the main shopping area in Ciudad Quesada.
The beaches of Guardamar-del-Segura and La Mata are just over 10 minutes drive away through fields of lemon groves. Both have palm-lined promenades dotted with cafes, bars and restaurants and miles of golden sandy beach. Guardamar also has a weekly night market during the summer months.
For golfing enthusiasts there are several renowned golf courses apart from La Marquesa within 30 minutes drive whilst for the nature lovers amongst you there are the salt lakes, frequented by pink flamingoes and many other birds, and nature reserves with walking and cycle tracks within 10 minutes drive from the property. For the more active, there is horse riding, quad biking and go carting all nearby.
Not only does the Costa Blanca enjoy an average annual temperature of 18-28 degreesC, 320 days of sunshine and a remarkably low rainfall almost all the year round, it is considered to be especially beneficial for conditions such as rheumatism, arthritis and asthma due to the concentrated salt in the lagoons.
Both Alicante and Murcia airports are about 40 minutes away by car and, although car hire is advisable to get the most out of your holiday, airport transfers from €45 each way can be arranged.
Baby cots, high chairs etc are available on request through our Property Manager for a small charge and she can also arrange for a welcome pack to be in the apartment for your arrival if you require.
Please can you smoke outside. There are ashtrays provided on the terrace and on the garden patio.
