Keep in mind that this is a house in the mountains (usually between 400 and 600 m above the coast) and here the roads are sinuous and access can also be via dirt tracks.

Villa Lydia is a charming holiday home on the outskirts of Archez, a village in the Axarquía mountains, an hour from Málaga Airport. The villa offers stunning mountain views and a private pool.
Located 3.5 km from Archez, it is accessed via a bumpy dirt road, making an off-road vehicle advisable, especially from October to May.
The villa is surrounded by nature, making it ideal for a relaxing retreat, though not suited for daily beach trips. Nearby, Archez offer small supermarkets and restaurants, while the beaches of Torre del Mar and Caleta de Vélez are 45 minutes away.

The villa's living room includes a dining area, satellite TV, and air conditioning. The fully equipped open kitchen is complemented by an outdoor covered kitchen with a charcoal barbecue near the pool.
Accommodations include two large ground-floor bedrooms and a third in the tower, accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. The villa has three bathrooms: two in the main house (one en suite) and one by the pool. The pool area is perfect for relaxation, with a small cabin, storage space, and an outdoor shower.

The pool season is usually from 1 April to 31 October.

Late check-in can be arranged until 1am for a supplement.
Pets are allowed for a supplement per night. An additional deposit of €200 is required if bringing a pet.
Electricity costs for houses with air conditioning/heating: Meter reading on arrival and departure. Excessive usage (more than 100 kW per week or 21.5 kW per day for longer stays) will incur an additional charge of €0.39 per kW on site. Expected usage is 70-200 kW/h per week with moderate consumption.
