Inviting holiday apartment on the first floor of a building in one of Genoa's most famous streets, just a few steps from the heart of the city.
Take advantage of this excellent starting point to visit the second largest aquarium in Europe, the Old Harbour with the creations of Renzo Piano, the Maritime Museum and the galleon built for Roman Polanski's film "Pirates".
Not forgetting the characteristic streets of the beautiful old town centre.
Just a few minutes' walk away is the Spianata Castelletto with a marvellous view over the rooftops of the city.
A pleasant stroll along cobbled paths and between elegant shops takes you to the Columbus House, just 1 kilometre away.
Numerous art exhibitions take place throughout the year in the Palazzo Ducale, and the local markets and concerts in the squares are also interesting.
The exhibition Dialogo nel Buio (Dialogue in the Dark), in the Old Port area, offers a unique journey of the senses: real situations are reproduced in complete darkness, for which a different way of seeing is to be learned.
Guided tours of local markets and cookery courses offered by the region make it possible to taste typical local products.
Thanks to its convenient location near the train station (1500 m), you can reach all the main tourist centres and seaside resorts of the Riviera.
There is also the possibility of hiking in the underground Genova, whale-watching, boat connections to Camogli, Portofino and the Cinque Terre, excursions inland to discover the flavours of Liguria, which offers excellent extra virgin olive oil, typical pesto with good basil, farinata (thin flatbread made from chickpea flour) and focaccia (local bread with oil and lard).
The following additional services are available on request and for a fee: family excursions with tastings in Genoa, excursions to the Cinque Terre, to the Riviera di Levante, to Portofino and San Fruttuoso, urban trekking in Genoa or naturalistic excursions to the Cinque Terre and Portofino, excursions to Noli and Finalborgo, horse riding excursions, boat trips, food personal shopper, private transfers, motorboat and rubber dinghy hire, car hire or private driver.
Additional services at the holiday property: cooking lessons, tasting of typical products (wine, olive oil, focaccia, pesto, etc.), babysitting, children's entertainment, dog-sitting, organisation of events and birthdays, Italian language courses, tasting lessons.
We recommend early booking.
A staircase (30 steps) leads to the main entrance of the building.
