This area offers good, wide-ranging opportunities for hobbies, e.g. horse riding opportunities 2 km away, ski trails in area, sports field, tennis courts and (indoor) gymnasium. Swimming shore ideal for children. Other cottages between chalet and seashore, path to seashore. Virpiniemi area also has Virpihovi café serving lunches, distance 0.5 km.
