Sleeping up to 23 guests across eight bedrooms, this spacious Ardennes cottage combines wellness facilities, recreation spaces, and direct access to the High Fens landscape with enough room for larger family gatherings and group stays to feel comfortable throughout the year.

Most afternoons drift naturally between the covered terrace, garden, and nearby hiking trails while evenings gather everyone back around the billiards table, bubble bath, or sauna after a day outdoors. Children usually disappear toward the football field and volleyball court while the adults settle into slower dinners and local Ardennes beer beside the barbecue.

Long weekends near Waimes usually revolve around forest walks, sauna evenings, and afternoons spent outdoors until the air turns cold enough to pull everyone back inside.
The forest begins just 100 metres from the cottage, while High Fens-Eifel Nature Park can be reached within roughly 12 minutes for elevated boardwalk trails and panoramic moorland scenery around Signal de Botrange, Belgium’s highest point. Lake Robertville lies around 8 minutes away and is especially popular for swimming, kayaking, and lakeside picnics during summer. Reinhardstein Castle can be reached within approximately 13 minutes overlooking the Warche Valley, while the Bayehon hiking trails nearby lead toward waterfalls and dramatic forest viewpoints across the Ardennes hills.

Von der Kommunikation, über das Haus selbst (Ausstattung) hat mir einfach rundum alles gefallen. Wir konnten den Platz draußen so gut nutzen, haben gegrillt und das tolle Wetter genossen. Wir werden uns noch lang an das Wochenende erinnern.
Es gab einige Fliegen, aber die gehören dazu ◡̈ Wir waren ja auf dem Land!

Heerlijk familieweekend gehad in dit vakantiehuis in een mooie omgeving. Huis was prima in orde, zowel binnen als buiten de woning was er voldoende ruimte voor alle gezinnen. Veel mogelijkheden voor leuke familie-activiteiten in de buurt, zoals o.a. een bezoek aan het kasteel, mountainkarten of railbiken, en natuurlijk wandelen in een mooie omgeving.
